The Staff Attorney/Clients’ Rights Advocate position at Disability Rights California (DRC) focuses on advocating for the rights of individuals with developmental disabilities. The role involves providing legal information, advice, and representation while working collaboratively with a team of advocates.

In Short

Requirements

• Juris Doctor degree.
• Two or more years of relevant experience.
• Strong research and analytical skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Sensitivity to diverse communities and people with disabilities.
• Ability to supervise and train staff.
• Fluency in Spanish or an Asian language is desirable.
• Knowledge of resources for people with disabilities.
• Experience with case management software.
• Occasional travel may be required.
