Director of Communications - Remote

Overview

The Director of Communications is a strategic leadership role responsible for shaping and implementing a dynamic communications vision across the organization. This position leads the development of a communications strategy that makes meaningful connections between our work, our partners, and the communities we serve.

• Lead the development of a cross-platform communications strategy.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Fine Arts, or a related field (Master's preferred).
• 7+ years of experience in communications, creative direction, or brand/content leadership.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating experience in creative design and multimedia storytelling.
• Proficiency in design software (Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, etc.).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience building cross-platform communications strategies.
• Project management skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborative, self-starting approach with a commitment to community voices.
• Video editing and post-production skills are preferred.
• Strong asset management and organizational abilities.
