Senior IT Administrator - Remote

Overview

This position is for a Senior IT Administrator who will take responsibility for complex IT infrastructures in a remote setting, ensuring strategic development and maintenance of systems.

In Short

• Plan, administer, and develop complex IT infrastructures in a Microsoft environment.
• Manage client system landscapes including Windows servers, virtualization, networks, and security.
• Lead technical projects for migrations, rollouts, and infrastructure projects.
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and optimize existing systems.
• Advise clients strategically and solution-oriented.
• Mentor and exchange knowledge with team members.
• Document processes and ensure quality assurance.

Requirements

• Several years of experience in IT administration, ideally in a service provider environment.
• Deep knowledge in Windows server environments, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Exchange, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policies.
• Experience with virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V), networks, firewalls, and backup solutions.
• Preferably knowledge of VoIP systems and IT security.
• Independent, structured working style with high personal responsibility.
• Very good German and good English skills.
