QA Automation Engineer (GCP/Cypress) - Remote

Overview

We are looking for a QA Automation Engineer with strong experience in test automation, functional QA, and working in Google Cloud Platform environments. This role will be key in ensuring software quality, detecting regressions early, and reducing technical debt, while collaborating closely with the development team.

In Short

• Design, implement, and maintain automated tests (unit, integration, and E2E) using Cypress.
• Execute and document functional tests for critical business scenarios.
• Perform API testing to validate backend services.
• Configure and optimize CI/CD pipelines in GitHub Actions.
• Work with GCP services (Cloud Functions, Workflows, App Engine, credentials).
• Refactor and improve coverage of legacy code.
• Participate in defining and implementing effective testing practices.
• Execute cross-browser and multi-device testing (Browserstack – nice to have).

Requirements

• Strong experience in test automation and functional QA.
• Proficient in Cypress for automated testing.
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform services.
• Knowledge of CI/CD practices and tools, especially GitHub Actions.
• Ability to execute and document functional and API tests.
• Experience in refactoring legacy code.
• Strong collaboration skills with development teams.
• Experience with cross-browser and multi-device testing is a plus.
