Overview

As a Senior Java Developer at Devoteam, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining efficient and reliable code while ensuring the best performance and quality of applications.

In Short

• Flag technical debt and document areas for improvement.
• Translate application storyboards into functional applications.
• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable code.
• Ensure application performance and responsiveness.
• Facilitate early resolution of client issues.
• Conduct code reviews and contribute to feature designs.
• Identify bottlenecks and bugs, devising solutions.
• Follow Agile Scrum development processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 5+ years of hands-on Java development experience.
• Proficiency in Spring Boot and latest Java editions.
• Strong knowledge of AWS and Microservices architecture.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Frontend experience with React.js or Angular is a plus.
• Experience with NodeJs and PostgreSQL is a plus.
• Solid grasp of security best practices for APIs.
• Proficiency in Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Comfortable with DevOps practices.
• Proficiency in English is mandatory.
