Overview

As a Project Buyer, you’re an active member of project teams, contributing to the understanding of products, equipment, and services required for project implementation while managing vendor relationships.

In Short

• Grow understanding of materials and services in material handling construction.
• Purchase quality materials and services through purchase orders and subcontracts.
• Procure and manage on-site rentals and consumables.
• Work with 3PLs for transport arrangements and order tracking.
• Resolve discrepancies in materials or services with suppliers.

Requirements

• Organized and able to switch between tasks quickly.
• Customer-service mindset.
• Good communication skills via phone, email, or text.
• Assertive in handling difficult conversations.
• Comfortable with Microsoft Office products.
• Experience in material handling, construction, or similar industries.
