Senior React Developer - Remote

Overview

This role is part of our Experience & Engineering team in Germany. We combine technology and experience design to create emotive yet conversion-focused ideas, products, and campaigns at scale and speed. Our specialty is digital experiences and communication that change perceptions and shape new behaviours to make a difference in the market.

In Short

• Develop and maintain headless e-commerce applications using React and modern frontend technologies.
• Contribute to the development of React components and common web technologies essential for building seamless multi-channel experiences.
• Build responsive and high performance web applications optimised for mobile, tablet, and desktop.
• Perform regular website testing to ensure functionality, including logging issues, detailing bugs and recommending improvements to PMs.
• Manage daily application updates, edits, changes, or asset uploads within our content management system.
• Work with PMs to support new business sales and pitches.
• Understand security/privacy principles and GPDR.
• Develop test plans and troubleshoot issues related to eCommerce.
• Assist with website conversion and analytics.
• Monitoring and managing website uptime and performance.

Requirements

• Professional working proficiency in German and English language.
• 5+ years of experience with TypeScript and React.js with a strong understanding of modern frontend development practices.
• Hands-on experience with server-side rendering frameworks such as Next.js, or similar technologies.
• Strong knowledge of component-based architecture and common React libraries.
• Experience working with APIs, including RESTful and GraphQL, for data fetching and integration with backend services.
• Familiarity with headless CMS platforms and frontend frameworks for e-commerce solutions.
• General experience of building, launching and maintaining stores and general knowledge of the admin system.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work closely with design teams.
• Development experience with responsive layouts for desktop, tablet and mobile.
• Experience implementing and debugging 3rd party integrations and building custom solutions where required.
