Senior/Staff Fullstack Engineer - Remote

Overview

As a Senior or Staff Fullstack Engineer, you’ll focus on strategy and design, driving near real-time processing and proposing key architectural changes. Your will be developing features, APIs, driving front-end and optimizing databases. You’ll also tackle infrastructure challenges, working across cloud and edge environments to enhance performance. This is a key role in evolving our system to better serve customers with smart, efficient solutions.

• Lead the development of new features, ensuring smooth integration with customer applications and services.
• Oversee deployment of solutions in cloud and edge environments, providing hardware setup and debugging.
• Ensure data quality and maintain operational pipelines, collaborating with teams on data consistency issues.
• Draft and implement strategy focused on real-time processing and optimizing architectural design.
• Take ownership of database consistency and quality, performing analysis on customer data issues.
• 5+ years experience as a fullstack engineer building web applications from scratch.
• Experience developing Python-based backend applications (Django).
• Experience with orchestration tools (Kubernetes, Terraform, Ansible).
• Experience with REST APIs and SQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQLite).
• Fluency in English (German not required).

Requirements

• Linux management/debugging experience.
• Data processing concepts (ETL, ELT).
• Experience developing web applications for data processing and visualization.
• Advocate for sound engineering practices, including agile methodology and CI/CD.
• Entrepreneurial mindset, hands-on mentality, resilience, and a passion for solving challenges.
• Interest in AI, computer vision, and deep learning.
