Backend Developer (Python, FastAPI) - Remote

Overview

You will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable, secure backend services for a SaaS platform, focusing on performance, reliability, and security.

In Short

• Design and develop robust, scalable backend services that support business requirements.
• Work closely with frontend engineers and product teams to deliver high-quality software.
• Proven experience building and maintaining backend services using FastAPI and other Python frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of relational (MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB) databases.
• Proficiency in building and maintaining RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with API security and authentication standards (OAuth, JWT).
• Experience with writing unit and integration tests.
• Maintain clean, scalable, and well-documented code.
• Permanent full-time position with hybrid or fully remote working options.
• Valid working permit for Ireland is mandatory.
