Consultant Tax Accounting - Remote

Overview

The role involves determining and verifying the tax position in the financial statements of leading clients at Deloitte.

In Short

• Prepare complex tax positions for IFRS / US GAAP or Dutch GAAP financial statements of clients.
• Advise on and assist with tax accounting related issues during acquisitions and carve-outs.
• Draft and/or review position papers supporting tax accounting positions.
• Verify tax positions of clients as part of the audit team.
• Develop, review, and/or enhance tax packs.
• Provide advice on IAS 12 related issues (both written and verbal).

Requirements

• A completed university degree in an economic or tax-related field, such as Tax Economics, Tax Law, Business Economics, and/or Accountancy.
• Basic knowledge of IAS 12 or a willingness to learn more about it.
• 2-4 years of relevant work experience in an international environment or at a consulting firm.
