Community College Success Fellow - Remote

Overview

The Community College Success Fellow will provide direct support to students and families, assisting them in navigating college and workforce challenges, while also representing the organization at various events.

In Short

• Provide guidance regarding financial aid and college/career planning.
• Deliver training to students and families.
• Manage a caseload of students.
• Engage with students on-campus.
• Build relationships with school personnel and community partners.
• Participate in professional development and team meetings.
• Maintain accurate files and generate reports.
• Travel within assigned regions for outreach.
• Support at fundraising and appreciation events.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Experience in a client/student service position.
• Geographic proximity to the region served.
• Bilingual Spanish/English preferred.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Google applications.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• First-generation college graduate from low-income backgrounds preferred.
