Tax Specialist - Remote

Overview

The Tax Specialist will be a part of the finance department at Deezer, working with various divisions and collaborating with an external tax advisor.

• Contribute to the definition and implementation of tax function strategy.
• Participate in finance transformation projects.
• Develop policies for improving tax information collection.
• Liaise with auditors to manage audit requirements.
• Ensure compliance with corporate tax regulations.
• Oversee foreign VAT/sales tax declaration processes.
• Review operations for compliance with local statutes.
• Stay updated on tax code and accounting law changes.
• Monitor local rules for electronically supplied services.

Requirements

• 3+ years experience in corporate tax with advisory and compliance knowledge.
• Interest in intellectual property and electronically supplied services.
• Proficiency in Excel and IT tools.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Good accounting knowledge is a plus.
