As a Payroll Expert at Deel, you will play a vital role in managing payroll processes and ensuring compliance with local regulations while contributing to the success of a global HR and payroll platform.

• Evaluate and select payroll software based on Deel's technology requirements.
• Ensure timely and accurate payroll execution in your region.
• Prepare and reconcile internal payroll reports for compliance.
• Manage local payroll and HR processes, including onboarding and offboarding.
• Schedule payroll expense collections and reconcile them.
• Improve processes to ensure compliance during rapid growth.
• Stay updated on local regulations and communicate changes.
• Provide expertise on payroll and HR matters across teams.
• Address complex payroll and HR inquiries from employees and clients.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, or related field.
• 4+ years of payroll and HR experience.
• Strong knowledge of local payroll regulations.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills for explaining complex issues.
• Advanced knowledge of payroll software solutions.
• Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
• Proficiency in English.
• Experience with payroll technologies is a plus.
