CA Supervising Psychiatrist - Remote, Part-Time

Overview

As a Supervising Psychiatrist at Daybreak Health, you will be part of a compassionate community dedicated to providing mental health support for youth. This role involves overseeing psychiatric nurse practitioners and ensuring compliance with California regulations.

In Short

• Provide collaborative supervision to psychiatric nurse practitioners (PMHNPs).
• Conduct monthly 1:1 meetings with each assigned provider.
• Review clinical charts and respond to clinical questions.
• Execute responsibilities outlined in the collaborating physician agreement.
• Provide clinical guidance and mentorship.
• Maintain remote access to EMR.
• Utilize EHR systems for documentation.
• Commit to youth mental health access and equity.

Requirements

• Active and unrestricted California Medical License in Psychiatry.
• Board Certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.
• DEA Certification.
• At least 2 years of behavioral health experience, ideally with youth.
• Prior supervisory or collaborative practice experience preferred.
• Strong EHR proficiency.
