Automation Maintenance Technician (Day Shift) - Remote

Overview

The Automation Maintenance Technician will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing production equipment and machinery, ensuring optimal performance and minimal downtime.

In Short

• Examine and diagnose malfunctioning production equipment.
• Dismantle and perform repairs on machinery.
• Coordinate manufacturing of replacement items.
• Perform preventative maintenance tasks.
• Mentor maintenance mechanic backup personnel.
• Work independently or in a group environment.
• Complete maintenance records for each machine.
• Correct minor electrical problems as needed.
• Understand vision system inspections and specifications.
• Make simple replacement parts for emergency repairs.

Requirements

• High school diploma or A.S./A.A. degree or equivalent experience.
• One or more years of experience in repairing industrial equipment.
• Working knowledge of electronic, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
• Able to work with blueprints or verbal instructions.
• Competent using Email.
