Project Manager (m/f/d) for TYPO3 and Digital Projects - Remote

Overview

You will lead TYPO3 projects and customer portals from proposal to go-live, ensuring clear objectives, binding decisions, and clean execution while collaborating closely with development, UX/design, PMO, and external partners.

• Lead complex TYPO3 and digital projects from proposal to successful acceptance and handover.
• Manage time, budget, and quality by planning milestones, prioritizing, and controlling risks.
• Act as the primary contact for clients, structuring requirements and translating business goals into clear backlogs.
• Coordinate interdisciplinary teams, moderating and escalating as necessary to keep everyone on track.
• Create transparency with regular status, budget, and quality reports, along with documented decisions.

Requirements

• Several years of experience as a project manager in agency/IT/digital environments.
• Proficient in managing interdisciplinary teams and communicating effectively at both technical and decision-making levels.
• Experience in both traditional project management (waterfall/phases) and agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).
• Results-oriented, self-responsible, and eager to learn; able to prioritize and make pragmatic decisions.
• Structured, analytical, and goal-oriented working style with decisiveness and reliability.
• Proficient in PM/documentation tools (e.g., Jira, Redmine, Confluence) and a good technical understanding of web technologies and interfaces.
• Fluent in German (C1+) and a good command of English is an advantage.
