The David Suzuki Foundation is seeking a passionate leader to direct its nature conservation efforts, focusing on biodiversity and environmental justice while collaborating with diverse communities.

In Short

• Lead innovative conservation initiatives.
• Manage a diverse team of 5-7 members.
• Develop and implement strategic conservation programs.

Requirements

• 3+ years of team leadership experience.
• 5+ years managing projects and campaigns in conservation.
• Expertise in nature conservation issues.
• High proficiency in English; bilingual in French preferred.
• Strong commitment to equity and social justice.
• Experience with Indigenous relations and land rights.
• Ability to travel as needed.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Experience in fundraising and policy advocacy.
• Post-secondary education in environmental sciences or related field is an asset.
