Davenergy Solutions is a rapidly growing, profitable company seeking a full-time, remote Cost Estimator QAS Professional to prepare detailed cost estimates and assist in project management at the Edward Hines, Jr. VA Hospital.

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for proposed changes.
• Inspect conditions and review contract drawings and specifications.
• Analyze contractor change proposals and provide written recommendations.
• Review contractor claims and provide technical recommendations.
• Conduct market studies to determine pricing for services.
• Document contractor progress on change order work.
• Prepare recommendations on contractor change proposals.
• Participate in negotiation meetings as a technical expert.

Requirements

• Six years of cost estimation services experience.
• Experience with design and construction plans.
• Ability to resolve unforeseen site conditions.
• Conduct inspections and identify deficiencies in structures.
• Current professional credentialing as an Estimator.
• Degree in Estimating or equivalent experience.
• Experience in analyzing contractor's work against baseline schedules.
• Strong communication and software skills.
