Senior Backend Engineer - Remote

In Short

• Develop, test, and support features of DataRobot.
• Create and maintain automated unit tests and functional tests.
• Design infrastructure for new features with peer input.
• Manage individual projects and milestones with clear communication.
• Engage in engineering on-call escalated support.
• Work collaboratively with product management for requirements.
• Strong experience in Python and/or Go.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes and Helm.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, and/or Google Cloud platforms is a plus.
• CI/CD pipeline experience is beneficial.

Requirements

• 3 to 10+ years of experience in backend development.
• Strong computer science fundamentals.
• Experience with automated testing and test-driven development.
• Ability to deliver complex solutions on time.
• Effective communication skills.
• Self-motivated and proactive.
• Understanding of software architecture for large systems.
• Experience in decoupling monolithic software.
• Publicly reviewable contributions to development projects.
• Data Science experience is a plus.
