Group Product Manager - Data Platform - Remote

Overview

We are looking for a Group Product Manager to lead our Data Platform team, managing a suite of products and services that power large-scale data ingestion, storage, transformation, and querying. The scope of this role includes observability data platforms for timeseries data, cross-platform querying capabilities, and the remote configuration of Datadog in customer environments for seamless onboarding and ongoing usage.

In Short

• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of product managers.
• Develop and articulate the long-term vision, strategy, and roadmap for the Data Platform organization.
• Oversee end-to-end product lifecycle for observability data platforms.
• Drive the development of cross-platform querying features.
• Drive the strategy for remotely configuring Datadog in customer environments.
• Conduct market research and collaborate with customers to capture requirements.
• Define success metrics and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for Data Platform initiatives.
• Oversee platform migrations and upgrades.
• Champion best practices in product management.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in B2B SaaS Product Management.
• 2+ years of experience managing a team of multiple product managers.
• Demonstrated experience hiring, mentoring, and developing product managers or engineers.
• Proven track record building and scaling data platforms.
• Proficiency in Datadog or similar observability/monitoring platforms.
• Strong understanding of cloud-native architectures and data infrastructure technologies.
• A strong technical background that fosters trust with technical customers.
• Ability to understand new technologies in depth.
• Experience as a software engineer or product manager on developer tools.
