Overview

We are seeking an experienced Insurance Underwriting & Case Support to support the full insurance advice lifecycle — from quoting and Statements of Advice through to underwriting and claims management.

In Short

  • Prepare insurance quotes across various products
  • Assist in drafting Statements of Advice (SOAs)
  • Manage applications end-to-end from submission to policy issue
  • Track underwriting progress and follow up outstanding requirements
  • Liaise with insurers, underwriters, nurses, and medical providers
  • Coordinate medical evidence including GP reports and financial documentation
  • Assist with claims lodgement and required documentation
  • Ensure professional communication throughout the claims process
  • Maintain detailed case notes within CRM systems
  • Escalate risks or underwriting concerns early

Requirements

  • Direct experience in New Zealand insurance
  • Confidence communicating with insurers and medical providers
  • Ability to manage cases proactively
  • Experience with claims management
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Effective communication skills
