Senior Accountant - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join our finance and accounting team. This role will focus on supporting day-to-day accounting functions and helping ensure accuracy in financial reporting and compliance.

In Short

• Support month-end close activities, including preparing and posting journal entries.
• Assist with revenue recognition for SaaS transactions, in accordance with US GAAP.
• Manage cash accounts and ensure accurate postings in the general ledger.
• Record routine entries such as accruals and prepaid expenses.
• Manage intercompany transactions and account reconciliations.
• Prepare documentation for reconciliations ensuring SOX compliance.
• Assist with customer invoicing, collections, and vendor payment processing.
• Review employee expense reports for policy alignment.
• Support annual audits and compliance reviews.
• Recommend best practices and process enhancements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in accounting or finance.
• Proficiency in ERP accounting software (NetSuite required).
• Strong understanding of US GAAP.
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Effective communication skills for collaboration.
• Ability to work effectively in a remote environment.
• Self-starter mentality.
