In Short

• Maintain a working knowledge of process and issues affecting productivity and quality of contract documents and reports
• Prepare drawings, details, specification, and contract documents for contractors
• Act as Engineer-in-responsible-charge, including making technical decisions and reviewing construction documents
• Prepare life cycle cost comparisons for system selection
• Develop positive client relationships and participate in project interviews
• Conduct project closeout and quality measurement investigation
• Promote sustainability and participate in design workshops
• Additional responsibilities may include interviewing and training team members

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering
• 10+ years of job-related experience
• Experience in Healthcare is a plus
• Advanced knowledge of Autodesk MEP Revit, Auto CAD, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office
• Strong knowledge of NEC codes
• Ability to prepare fee proposals and negotiate contracts
• Ability to administer construction contracts and conduct on-site observations
