In Short

  • Maintain computer hardware, operating systems and applications.
  • Set up new users' accounts and profiles and deal with password issues.
  • Manage, maintain, and administer on-prem network equipment: routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless stack.
  • Public cloud (AWS, Azure) network administration.
  • Work on automation in IT environments.
  • Troubleshoot system and network problems, diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults.
  • Document system configurations, updates made to a system, and any new procedures or policies created.
  • If needed, manage a project, oversee IT staff, and coordinate with vendors and internal users when implementing a new system.

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience with Windows/Linux/Mac OS environments.
  • Comprehensive understanding of IP networks and security protocols (both cloud and on-prem).
  • In-depth knowledge of information technology and enterprise device management.
  • Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to provide step-by-step technical help, both written and verbal.
  • Understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices, including threat detection and prevention.
  • Communicating complex information to a non-technological audience.
