We’re seeking an experienced Application Modernization Architect to lead the transformation of legacy enterprise applications into scalable, cloud-native solutions, focusing on migrating a legacy Solaris-based enterprise platform to a modern architecture leveraging OpenShift.

In Short

Lead technology projects from inception to delivery.
Refactor monolithic applications into microservices-based architectures.
Collaborate with engineering teams for modern frameworks.
Design and guide cloud migration efforts.
Create and maintain architectural diagrams and documentation.
Partner with customers to design aligned solutions.
Conduct strategic roadmapping and discovery sessions.
Provide leadership and mentorship to technical teams.
Oversee delivery milestones and quality assurance.
Identify and mitigate technical risks.

Requirements

Experience leading customer-facing, service-oriented projects.
Architecting and modernizing applications using Java, .NET, Angular, and cloud technologies.
Experience with Red Hat OpenShift.
Understanding of full-stack development and distributed systems.
Expertise in application refactoring and microservices.
Experience with Apache Kafka.
Solutions design on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
Excellent communication skills for technical and business stakeholders.
Prior experience in presales or technical scoping preferred.
