Overview

The Instructor is responsible for teaching courses for Chamberlain University, focusing on both classroom and experiential learning environments while conducting scholarship and providing service to the college and community.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Nursing required; PhD or DNP preferred.
• Current and active Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Minimum of two years of professional experience in nursing.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated commitment to scholarship and professional development.
• Maintain appropriate licensure or certification.
• Experientially prepared to teach assigned courses.
• Ability to mentor new faculty members.
• Participate in academic advisement and counseling.
• Comply with additional compliance requirements for clinical roles.
