Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist - CA License Required - Remote

Overview

Cortica is looking for a remote, part time Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join its growing multi-disciplinary team! Please note that a current and unrestricted license to practice in the state of California is required for this position.

This role provides clinicians with the opportunity to work with leaders in the field of child development and to broaden their clinical knowledge across disciplines through collaboration with master practitioners across neurological, sensorimotor, communication, and behavior therapies.

In Short

• Deliver direct client counseling services to families, couples, and children.
• Utilize therapeutic approaches tailored to the needs of the client.
• Attend to relational ethics while collaborating with the interdisciplinary team.
• Participate in family care meetings with other providers.
• Comply with clinic policies and all state, federal, and licensing board laws.
• Maintain documentation and communication in line with legal and ethical standards.
• Team members must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to safeguard patient information.
• Possess a master’s degree or doctorate in psychology or related field.
• Have 1 year or more of experience working with children or families with developmental differences.
