Working Student in the Fact-Checking Team - Remote

Overview

We are looking for a working student to join our fact-checking team for 20 hours per week, ideally in the afternoons.

In Short

• Support in social media monitoring for misinformation detection.
• Evaluate reader hints in our WhatsApp chatbot.
• Respond to reader inquiries across various platforms.
• Assist in managing our social media channels (e.g., WhatsApp, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube).
• Organizational tasks to support projects, such as the German-Austrian Digital Media Observatory (GADMO).

Requirements

• Enrollment at a university or technical college.
• First experience in social media management.
• Very good general knowledge and engagement with misinformation topics.
• First editorial experience is a plus.
• Motivation to support the goals of CORRECTIV.
• Desire to work in a young and dynamic environment.
