CorpsAfrica, founded in 2011, is an organization dedicated to empowering young Africans to serve in their own countries, inspired by the Peace Corps model. The organization trains college-educated individuals and places them in rural, high-poverty communities for up to one year, where they facilitate impactful projects identified by local residents. CorpsAfrica's mission is to foster a culture of public service in Africa, enabling participants to leverage their education, skills, and energy to help their fellow citizens combat extreme poverty.
