Overview

The Patient Transporter is responsible for the safe and timely transportation of patients, specimens, and medications throughout the hospital, ensuring a high standard of care and safety.

• Transport patients safely using wheelchairs and gurneys.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of three months on-the-job training.
• CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required upon hire.
• Preferred experience in patient transportation in an acute hospital setting.
• Ability to lift and move patients safely.
• Strong communication skills.
• Commitment to patient care and safety.
