The Registrar for the Emergency Center at Corewell Health is responsible for ensuring a smooth and timely registration and admission process for patients, while also providing excellent customer service and managing various administrative tasks.

• Part-time position, 2-3 days per week, day shift.
• Work involves greeting and registering patients in the Emergency Center.

• Utilizes EPIC for registration and documentation processes.
• Ensures compliance with hospital and department standards.
• Facilitates financial screenings for self-pay and out-of-network patients.

• May assist in scheduling ancillary testing and managing patient charts.
• Maintains professionalism and customer service standards.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of relevant customer service or healthcare experience.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Proficient in medical terminology.
• Typing proficiency (30 words/minute).
• Familiarity with Windows, Excel, Word, and EPIC preferred.
