Overview

The Nurse Tech Neuro Spine role involves providing quality patient care in a specialized Neuroscience/Spine unit, focusing on neurological conditions and spinal surgeries.

In Short

Work in a 22-bed Neuroscience/Spine unit at Blodgett Hospital.
Care for patients with neurological conditions and spinal surgeries.
Perform basic nursing skills under RN supervision.
Monitor vital signs and report observations.
Assist with patient hygiene and mobility.
Learn unique skills like the NIHSS Stroke Scale.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 90 days.
Ability to communicate effectively with the healthcare team.
