Overview

The Emergency Security Dispatcher Associate is responsible for monitoring various emergency alarm systems and triaging security requests, ensuring the safety and security of the facility.

In Short

• Monitor emergency alarm systems including HUGS and Panic Alarms.
• Triages emergent and non-emergent security requests.
• Utilizes phone and radio systems to arrange appropriate resources.
• Maintains detailed records of calls for service in CAD system.
• Acts as the primary contact for Security Services and Plant Operations.
• Operates a virtual switchboard and manages emergency calls.
• Monitors internal emergency systems and communicates information.
• Documents all communications and maintains confidential records.
• Ensures compliance with organizational policy and regulations.
• Assists with routine testing of alarm systems.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 2 years of relevant customer service experience preferred.
• Associate's Degree in related field preferred.
• Experience with telecommunications and two-way radio systems.
• Familiarity with CAD and work order entry software.
• Experience in a hospital or dispatch setting is a plus.
