IT Administrator (Part-Time) - Remote

In this role, you will be the backbone of our IT support: the central point of contact that technically secures our team and our clients.

In Short

• Support and administration of IT systems for small businesses (mostly remote, some on-site in Berlin)
• Administration, maintenance, and optimization of Windows and Linux servers
• Installation, updates, and upgrades of software in Docker environments
• Setup and maintenance of automation and RMM software
• Network administration (LAN, WLAN, possibly SD-WAN), including error analysis and security hardening
• IT security measures (firewalls, backup strategies, endpoint protection)
• Management of mobile devices (Mobile Device Management)
• Creation and maintenance of technical documentation
• Monitoring of systems, analysis of logs and system metrics
• Support and knowledge backup for external IT freelancers

Requirements

• Completed training as an IT specialist for system integration, IT systems electronics technician, or comparable qualification
• Several years of experience in IT support or system administration; preferably in an IT service provider
• Knowledge of Windows/Linux servers, Docker, networks, and IT security
• Familiarity with RMM and monitoring tools
• Structured working method, documentation, and analytical skills
• Strong communication skills, customer orientation, and team spirit
• Very good German and good English skills
• Independent, solution-oriented working style and willingness to continue learning
