Overview

The Senior QA Engineer at CookUnity plays a crucial role in ensuring high product standards through test automation, working closely with various teams to optimize user experiences.

In Short

Develop and maintain test automation frameworks for web and mobile.
Leverage AI-driven automation tools to increase test coverage.
Define and implement QA-related processes including CI/CD testing integration.
Collaborate with Engineering, DevOps, and Product teams to improve quality metrics.
Perform root cause analysis on production issues.
Monitor key quality indicators to drive improvements.
Strong foundation in software testing and quality assurance.
Proficiency in test automation tools and frameworks.
Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Comfortable in a fast-paced startup environment.

Requirements

Proven track record in software testing and quality assurance.
Experience with test automation tools: Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, Appium.
Proficiency in API testing frameworks like Postman, RestAssured.
Ability to write and debug tests in JavaScript, TypeScript, or Kotlin.
Strong understanding of SDLC and agile methodologies.
Experience in setting up observability for test execution.
Excellent communication skills.
Adaptable to changing priorities in a startup.
