Overview

As a CGS Hmong Chinese Document Reviewer, you will support various aspects of the company's litigation portfolio, including eDiscovery activities and workflow management, within a fast-paced in-house legal team.

In Short

  • Conduct research and draft responses for post-conviction motions.
  • Draft memorandums on legal questions for direct appeals and pretrial motions.
  • Examine and prepare complex legal documents including motions and subpoenas.
  • Assist client attorneys in preparing trial notebooks and jury instructions.
  • Prepare discovery materials in accordance with legal regulations.
  • Utilize legal research tools to verify citations in legal documents.
  • Compose original letters requiring knowledge of legal procedures.
  • Maintain organized files for client assistant attorneys.
  • Produce written documents using various office software applications.
  • Assemble exhibits and legal documents for disposition or transfer.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in litigation support projects.
  • Sound knowledge of federal and state court systems.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Familiarity with legal research tools such as LEXIS and Westlaw.
  • Hands-on experience with computer applications and ESI tools.
  • Knowledge of eDiscovery procedures and resources.
  • Law Degree required.
