Overview

As a CGS Hmong Chinese Document Reviewer, you will play a key role in supporting various aspects of the company's litigation portfolio including eDiscovery activities, workflow management, and litigation support.

In Short

  • Conduct research and draft responses for post-conviction motions.
  • Draft memorandums on questions of law for direct appeals and pretrial motions.
  • Examine, prepare, and process complex legal documents.
  • Assist client attorneys in preparing trial notebooks and discovery.
  • Compose original letters requiring knowledge of legal procedures.
  • Produce written documents using various office software applications.
  • Establish and maintain files for client assistant attorneys.
  • Verify citations and statutory references in legal documents.
  • Hands-on familiarity with ESI tools and eDiscovery procedures.
  • Requires a Law Degree.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in litigation support projects.
  • Sound knowledge of federal and state court systems.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Thorough knowledge of legal research tools such as LEXIS and Westlaw.
  • Hands-on familiarity with various computer applications.
  • Knowledge of eDiscovery procedures and resources.
  • Ability to interact successfully with clients and attorneys.
  • Proven capabilities in communication skills.
  • Experience with document review and file management systems.
  • Law Degree required.
