Financial Controller - Remote

Overview

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Financial Controller to oversee the financial operations of our international group with subsidiaries in several countries. The ideal candidate will ensure the accuracy and integrity of our financial reporting, maintain compliance with local and international regulations, and support our strategic financial goals.

In Short

• Manage the consolidation of financial statements from multiple subsidiaries.
• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance with local GAAP and IFRS.
• Prepare and present consolidated financial reports to senior management and stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with local and international financial regulations.
• Implement and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets.
• Manage cash flow, funding, and financial risks across all subsidiaries.
• Handle cross-border transactions and ensure proper reconciliation.
• Lead and mentor local accounting teams.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.
• Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment.

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Controlling; Master’s preferred.
• CPA or CFA certification is a plus.
• Several years of well-rounded financial controller experience in an international environment.
• Good knowledge of IFRS and consolidation.
• Familiar with ICS.
• Good presentation, reporting and communication skills.
• Must have full working rights in Switzerland.
• Must be based in Zug or willing to commute at least 2 times per week.
