Overview

This is a full-time position for a remote support technician that can provide high-level help desk IT support for clients based all around the U.S. The role involves providing excellent customer service, troubleshooting network devices, and managing Microsoft 365 environments.

In Short

  • Provide helpdesk support remotely and via phone, e-mail, and remote-control tools.
  • Troubleshoot network devices, systems, and software.
  • Compile and maintain client support documentation.
  • Answer help-request tickets through an online system.
  • Assist in deployments and troubleshooting of server and networking equipment.
  • Provide excellent customer service via phone and written mediums.
  • Interfacing with clients in person as needed, up to 50% of the week.
  • Must be detail-oriented and able to self-manage.
  • Must pass a 90-day probation period and receive a good performance review.
  • Must have strong networking fundamentals.

Requirements

  • Must be a US citizen.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Reliable transportation and a modern smartphone.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to follow directions and solve problems under pressure.
  • Detail-oriented and organized.
  • Experience with Microsoft 365, Azure AD, and networking fundamentals.
  • Ability to work autonomously and provide remote support.
  • Knowledge of Single Sign-On and Multi-Factor Authentication solutions.
  • Must have experience in IT support roles.
