Medical Bill Negotiator - Remote

Overview

The Medical Bill Negotiator supports the AuditIQ operations team by communicating with providers to negotiate savings on medical bills after bill review reductions and documenting savings for clients.

In Short

• Determines cost saving opportunities and pricing optimization strategies.
• Reviews and analyzes bill review EORs and medical bills.
• Enables positive experience with providers through communication.
• Obtains signed agreements from providers and documents savings.
• Maintains updated provider demographics and successful outcomes in Salesforce.
• Responds to client reporting requests.
• Participates in planning and meetings.
• Complies with company guidelines and policies.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Additional duties as assigned by manager.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 2 years of workers’ compensation bill review experience.
• Experience in healthcare coding or billing desired.
• Strong working knowledge of Office 365.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills required.
• Ability to work independently and maintain relationships.
