Senior QA Automation Engineer - Remote

Overview

We are looking for a hands-on Senior Automation QA Engineer with a strategic mindset to lead the implementation of our internal test automation framework. This role will be instrumental in driving the expansion of our automation testing coverage across our internal platforms.

In Short

• Define and implement the internal automation testing framework and tooling strategy
• Review and optimize existing automated scripts delivered by external vendors
• Collaborate with internal and external teams to align automation scope and regression priorities
• Drive CI/CD integration for test automation and reporting
• Establish testing best practices and mentor junior engineers
• Evaluate, maintain, and support test environments for automated regression
• Expand automation testing across all Companjon tech landscape

Requirements

• 5+ years of QA automation experience with proven leadership in test automation strategy
• Expertise in modern automation tools such as Cypress, Selenium or similar
• Strong coding experience in JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python
• Proven success in building or refactoring scalable automation frameworks
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or similar
• Familiarity with API testing, integration testing, and microservice-based architectures
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
