Accounting Specialist - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Specialist to join our accounting and finance team, playing a critical role in supporting our accounting functions.

In Short

• Provide ad-hoc financial analysis, reporting, and administrative support.
• Perform monthly account reconciliations and assist in financial statement preparation.
• Create customer invoices and record payments.
• Process vendor invoices and manage expense reports.
• Follow up on overdue accounts and maintain professional communication with customers.
• Support cash management processes and monitor inventory levels.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency in accounting processes.
• Assist with mailing and distribution of printed materials.

Requirements

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• 5+ years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping.
• Strong proficiency in accounting software; NetSuite experience is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Experience in a manufacturing or print production environment is a plus.
