Accounting Specialist - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Specialist to join our accounting and finance team. This position plays a critical role in supporting our accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, balance sheet reconciliations, and collection calls.

In Short

• Process vendor invoices and manage accounts payable.
• Create customer invoices and manage accounts receivable.
• Perform monthly account reconciliations and assist in financial statement preparation.
• Support cash management processes and monitor inventory levels.
• Identify process improvement opportunities.
• Follow up on overdue accounts and maintain customer communication.
• Assist with mailing and distribution of financial materials.
• Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping.
• Strong proficiency in accounting software; NetSuite experience is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in manufacturing or print production is a plus.
