• Establish and scale CoinTracker’s security foundation.
• Define and implement the security roadmap.
• Conduct a security gap assessment and implement baseline policies.
• Embed security into engineering workflows.
• Drive security operations and incident response processes.
• Hands-on in building infrastructure and culture for security.
• Lead key security initiatives including audits and certifications.
• Foster a strong security culture across the company.
• Collaborate with engineering teams for secure development.
• 8+ years of experience in security engineering.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in security engineering or related roles.
• Deep understanding of core security domains.
• Hands-on experience with security measures.
• Experience with security frameworks like SOC 2 and ISO 27001.
• Experience leading third-party audits and risk assessments.
• Resourceful and comfortable working in ambiguity.
• U.S. citizen and U.S. resident.
• Bonus: Familiarity with crypto risks and threat models.
• Bonus: Security certifications such as CISSP and GIAC.
