State Government Affairs Advocate - Remote

Overview

As a member of our State Government Affairs team, you will be responsible for helping to advocate for state and local public policy initiatives, and assisting with Coinbase’s engagement strategy with state legislators.

In Short

• Monitor and analyze state legislation impacting Coinbase.
• Work cross functionally with policy/regulatory/communications/product teams.
• Design and implement public policy initiatives and engagement strategies.
• Build and nurture relationships with legislators and key stakeholders.
• Develop relevant materials for engagement with state officials.
• Manage output of Coinbase’s contract lobbyists.
• Represent Coinbase at state conferences across the country.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or non-US equivalent required.
• 5+ years of experience in government or advocacy roles.
• Experience leading a portfolio of policy issues.
• Familiarity with crypto policy issues.
• Strong self-starter and problem solver.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
