Security Engineer - Remote

Overview

Coder is on a mission to build enterprise software that makes software developers’ lives easier and keeps them in flow. We’re hiring a Security Engineer to secure our infrastructure and internal processes, conduct threat analysis on our open source projects, and build out auditing frameworks for compliance as our team continues to scale globally.

In Short

• Craft and implement best practices for secure internal development environments.
• Design and code integrations with internal platforms and external APIs.
• Review and improve permissions related to internal cloud resources.
• Perform security assessments on open source projects.
• Validate and remediate security findings.
• Help obtain and maintain compliance accreditations (GDPR, SOC2, etc.).

Requirements

• Currently based in the United States, Canada, or Poland.
• 2-5 years of professional experience in a similar capacity.
• Experience with Go or a similar backend language.
• Solutions-oriented; able to balance security with practical needs.
• Passion for security, operations, and technology.
