Senior DevOps Engineer at AI Startup - Remote

Overview

We are Codefy – a young, successful technology startup from Heidelberg that recently won 1st place in the state award for young companies of Baden-Württemberg. Over the last five years, we have created a unique AI analysis software that helps the judiciary, administration, and leading companies to handle large and complex procedures in a fraction of the usual time and with much greater accuracy.

In Short

• Full-time position in the DevOps area
• Occasional office presence in Heidelberg, otherwise flexible remote or hybrid
• Operation and maintenance of Kubernetes clusters in on-prem and cloud environments
• Automation of deployments and build processes using CI/CD pipelines
• Provisioning and configuration of infrastructure with Ansible and Terraform
• Using monitoring and alerting tools to monitor stability and performance
• Error analysis during disturbances and server outages
• Technical support for customer projects, especially on-prem deployments
• Operating LLMs in own infrastructure
• Close collaboration with developers, PO, key accounts, and other stakeholders

Requirements

• At least 4 years of experience in the DevOps field
• Fluent German and English skills
• Experience with container environments (Docker and Kubernetes or OpenShift)
• Experience with Linux and cloud environments, CI/CD pipelines, Helm, and operation and maintenance of complex IT systems
• Ideally experience with Ansible and Terraform, shell scripts, monitoring and logging tools, and software development (Rust, Python, React)
• Ideally interest in MLOps topics
