Overview

As a Senior Site Reliability Engineer at Coalfire, you will support our Cloud Services team, working with major public clouds and utilizing automation to ensure reliability and scalability of SaaS products.

In Short

  • Collaborate with engineering teams to maintain secure cloud infrastructure.
  • Implement automated orchestration and configuration management.
  • Manage client environments across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
  • Respond to alerts and review dashboards using analytics tools.
  • Provide 24x7x365 support for client environments.
  • Participate in incident response and disaster recovery exercises.
  • Document technical processes and create operational runbooks.
  • Identify areas for automation and improvement.
  • Work independently and as part of a team.
  • Engage in continuous learning and professional development.

Requirements

  • BS or above in Information Technology or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years in production operations.
  • 5+ years supporting cloud operations in AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Terraform and Ansible.
  • Strong CI/CD pipeline experience.
  • Experience with container orchestration solutions.
  • Proficient in scripting languages (Bash, Python, PowerShell).
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment.
  • Experience with ticketing tools like Jira and ServiceNow.
