Branding and Marketing Specialist – Startup Support Advisor - Remote

We seek a branding and marketing specialist with experience providing targeted advisory support to startups in our pre-incubation, incubation, and acceleration programs.

In Short

• Conduct branding and marketing workshops for startups.
• Provide one-on-one coaching sessions tailored to startups’ unique needs.
• Develop branding strategies, including visual identity and messaging frameworks.
• Advise startups on market positioning and customer engagement strategies.
• Guide startups in crafting tailored go-to-market strategies.
• Assist startups in creating compelling narratives that align with their vision.
• Offer guidance on brand asset creation and marketing campaign implementation.
• Deliver training on branding and marketing best practices.
• Provide weekly status updates during project team meetings.
• Document key insights and develop a closing report on communication successes.

Requirements

• Proven experience in branding, storytelling, and strategic communication.
• Strong track record of supporting startups in developing brand narratives.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of African EdTech ecosystems is an advantage.
