Finance & Accounting Specialist - Remote

Overview

We’re seeking a detail-oriented Finance & Accounting Specialist with proven experience in the Managed Service Provider (MSP) industry. This remote role involves managing all aspects of financial operations, including bookkeeping, accounts receivable (A/R), accounts payable (A/P), general ledger (G/L), reconciliations, and financial reporting.

In Short

• Manage full-cycle accounting: A/R, A/P, G/L, reconciliations, and journal entries
• Oversee billing cycles and ensure timely invoicing and collections
• Maintain accurate transaction records in QuickBooks Online and ConnectWise
• Prepare monthly financial reports, budgets, and forecasts
• Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable financial regulations
• Support audits and financial reviews as needed
• Work with internal teams to streamline financial workflows
• Recommend and implement improvements to payment processes
• Minimum 3 years of finance/accounting experience within an MSP or IT services environment
• Flexible schedule: Part-Time (U.S.-based) or Full-Time (International)

Requirements

• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online, ConnectWise Manage, WisePay, and Sync365
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial best practices
• Experience with remote collaboration tools (e.g., Teams, Slack, Zoom)
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently
• CPA or equivalent certification (preferred but not required)
